SERVICES

With over 23 years of experience working in the corporate world, we are able to offer an enormous variety of professional transcription services. We combine our knowledge and experience to assist you in meeting your goals.

Projects are typed with 12 point Times New Roman type font, with single spacing and margins at 1 inch from top and bottom, and 1 inch side margins, unless otherwise specified.

We transcribe verbatim, excluding umms, ahhs and pauses in recorded speech, unless otherwise specified.

In-audible words will be placed in [brackets] and instructions to assistant, if applicable, will be placed in [bold].

Transcripts are delivered to you via email in Word format. Hard copy or CD may be requested for an additional charge. We will do our best to accommodate any special formatting requirements you may have and would be pleased to discuss those with you.

Off-hour Service

Digitype.ca offers the benefit of off-hour service. We continue to monitor our systems between the hours of 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm should you wish to have your document readily available for the start of your next business day. Rush hour service is also available during these hours. Please refer to the Pricing & Billing page for further information.

CD, DVD and Cassette Transcription

Digitype.ca also offers the transcription of recordings in CD, DVD and standard audio cassette or micro cassette. This form of transcription involves an additional step of converting the existing recording into digital format, before the actual transcribing begins.

Email Transcription

Digitype.ca also has the ability to receive large audio files via email.
